Puja Tomar, known as “The Cyclone,” is a trailblazing Indian mixed martial artist and the first Indian woman to sign with and win a bout in the UFC. Hailing from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, she is a five-time national Wushu champion and former Matrix Fight Night strawweight titleholder. After competing in Super Fight League and ONE Championship, she made her historic UFC debut in June 2024, defeating Brazil’s Rayanne dos Santos. Her journey has become a landmark moment for Indian MMA, inspiring a new generation of fighters.
