Dhaassyam Geetha Bhascker

Geetha Bhascker is a seasoned visual artist and life skills trainer with a multifaceted career spanning over four decades. She began her professional journey in medical advertising and textile design before transitioning into the field of education. With over 30 years of experience teaching art across various curricula, she has worked with numerous schools, contributed to discussions on child welfare, and spoken on multiple media platforms.

Geetha has also served as a life skills and communication trainer with organizations such as The Times of India, Nizam College, Osmania University’s Law College, Kasturba Gandhi College, and the Domestic Science College. She has conducted workshops for both teachers and parents, bringing a deep, empathetic approach to her work.

Remarkably, she embraced acting at the age of 58 and has since appeared in films, advertisements, and web series. An accomplished writer, she has authored two books—one on child upbringing and another on health and menu planning, both rooted in her personal experiences. She is the CEO of INDFAME (India Fine Arts and Media Education), an initiative offering integrated visual arts courses in schools, supported by the Language and Culture Department of Telangana. She continues to mentor young artists, organize exhibitions, and work on her own series of paintings. Her wide-ranging interests include music, reading, painting, writing, cooking, gardening, and travel.
